Samsung Watch sensor data analysis
A smartwatch records far more than location—it captures a continuous stream of data about movement, physical activity, environmental conditions, and device interaction. MOBILedit Forensic now brings this sensor evidence into the investigation across four key categories: Movement & Position, Health & Biometrics, Environmental, and Device & Activity.
Data from GPS, accelerometers, heart-rate monitors, blood oxygen sensors, barometers, and on-body detection reveals where the watch was, what was happening to its wearer, what conditions surrounded the device, and how the watch was being used.
This evidence adds a new layer to event reconstruction, helping investigators build stronger timelines, verify activity, and uncover details that mobile data alone may not reveal.
LevelDB analysis
MOBILedit Forensic 9.8.1 adds analysis of LevelDB, a database format increasingly used by modern mobile applications as an alternative to SQLite.
Applications such as Google Play, Yandex, Kick, Snapchat, Claude, and others may store timestamps, URLs, account identifiers, bookmarks, connected devices, notification data, and other application records in LevelDB. Supporting this format expands the range of application evidence MOBILedit Forensic can recover and helps investigators uncover relevant data stored outside conventional databases.
