What’s New:
Exynos bypassing — now also for Samsung Galaxy Watch
Exynos unlocking support has been expanded up to the January 2025 security patch level, now covering additional Exynos chipsets, even when specific model definitions are not available. The latest devices supported like Samsung Galaxy A55, Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy A35 and more!
Bypassing has also been extended to Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, 6, and 7, previously supported only for Galaxy Watch 4.
Available in the ULTRA edition.
Expanded multi-user extraction & analysis on Android
Full support is now available for multiple user profiles on Android devices — such as Secure Folder, Private Space, Dual apps, App lock, App twin and other isolated environments.
All user-specific artefacts, such as contacts, call history, and app data, are neatly organized and displayed per profile, including recovered user credentials.
Decryption is supported for all users on rooted devices and physical images, with brute-force available for additional user passwords.
Extraction from non-rooted devices is now supported, extending the range of devices accessible for acquisition.
Finally, Smart Screenshots now capture data across multiple user profiles.
Available in the ULTRA edition.
More innovations
Coros smartwatches — a popular sports smartwatch brand used worldwide — can now be connected directly for data extraction and analysis.
AirTag analysis is now supported on Android devices, complementing the existing support for iOS.
Android runtime permissions are now analyzed and reported. When an app requests access to media, calls, or other data, MOBILedit now displays which permissions have been granted or denied — a feature previously available only for iOS, now added for Android as well.
MIUI App Lock passwords can now be brute-forced. MOBILedit can recover the app-lock password, allowing examiners to unlock apps and view protected content directly on the live device screen during extraction.
NFC data from both Android and iOS devices can now be analyzed.
Encrypted UFDR files can be imported and processed.
Improvements
iOS iMessages analysis now indicates if messages were edited, and how.
Smart Screenshots are now delivered as a live update package, allowing faster updates and fixes. Several stability improvements made too.
The option to perform app downgrade or advanced data extraction is now shown directly in the UI, under Application analysis.
New application analysis have been added and existing ones updated, including support for disappearing messages in WhatsApp, and SimpleX Chat. Some updates also apply to WearOS apps.
When entering a device password during Advanced Data Extraction, it is now possible to draw the unlock pattern.
Extraction from Android is faster as certain unnecessary system files are no longer copied.
Additional iOS logs are now analyzed, such as Wi-Fi networks, iPhone pairings with PC, and autocomplete keywords.
More metadata is now extracted from iOS photos.
The user interface and reports are now available in additional languages.
Physical image decryption now supports more devices, including Samsung Galaxy A03s.
Extended support for extracting applications from non-rooted Android devices, without the Connector app installed.
