The process of connecting Windows Mobile devices is very easy. It requires only a few conditions.

Either cable, BlueTooth or IrDA connection is available (if supported by the device).

• In order to detect a Windows Mobile device through MOBILedit!, the device has to be connected to Active sync (Windows XP) / Sync center (Windows Vista and Windows 7) first.

• Use MOBILedit! Connection Wizard to connect the device. Alternatively you can use "Settings..." from the "File" menu, and select the "Windows Mobile device" item on the "Ports" tab. Once you click the OK button, the detection process proceeds.

• When the Windows Mobile device is connected to MOBILedit! for the first time, the program automatically offers installation of MOBILedit! Connector. In order to finish the installation, please follow the steps on the device’s display.
