17.1 MOBILedit! folders
Change or removal of the system files or folders may corrupt functionality of the program.

User's folder is where the .dat files are being kept. The files contain the user's backups, offline devices and other information.

How to find the user's folder (default settings):

  • Windows XP
    • C:\Documents and Settings\[CURRENT USER]\Application Data\MOBILedit
  • Windows Vista, Windows 7
    • C:\Users\[CURRENT USER]\AppData\Roaming\MOBILedit

How to find user's settings files and logs:

  • C:\Documents and Settings\[CURRENT USER]\My Documents\MOBILedit!

How to find MOBILedit! system folders (default settings):

MOBILedit:

 C:\Program Files\MOBILedit!

MOBILedit Enterprise:

 C:\Program Files\MOBILedit! Enterprise

MOBILedit Forensic:

 C:\Program Files\MOBILedit! Forensic

MOBILedit PhoneCopier:

 C:\Program Files\MOBILedit! PhoneCopier

Location may be changed during the installation.
