Oregon Financial Crimes Conference in Eugene

COMPELSON will be participating in the Oregon Financial Crimes Conference in Eugene, Oregon. This conference is sponsored by the US Attorney’s Office, the Oregon Dept of Justice, the FBI, the Dept of Public Safety Standards and Training and the Southern Oregon Financial Fraud and Security Team (SOFAST).

The program is designed to assist investigators and prosecutors who handle financial crimes, as well as private-sector personnel who assist with law enforcement financial investigations. The seminar will focus on a collaborative approach to the investigation and prosecution of financial fraud, the trends associated with economic fraud and digital evidence, and the laws applicable to those environments.

The GSM Americas is the leading Pan-American mobile event and had over 100 GSM operators in attendance. The event featured 16 board level operator speakers with simultaneous translations in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. The fact that Latin America has shown a 38.7% growth in GSM customers in the past year shows the vast importance of this conference.
